Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!
So it's Valentine's Day again, and we all know what that means: lots of love and chocolate! (For me, mostly chocolate.) Yeah, single can be nice sometimes, but for some reason I feel all 'oh-I-wish-I-had-someone-special-ish' this time around. *shrugs* Blame it on the hormones I guess.
the closest thing I've had to a date is a date with Artemis Fowl. Yeah, I know, I spent the Valentine's Day weekend with books. Well in my defence I've been off of school since Wednesday because of teachers' conference. I had to do something besides be all moody and lovesick! So Now I have four Artemis Fowl books all read. Yay for speed reading! Unfortunately, now I'm going to remain in agony for the next few weeks, because Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox is in high demand at the library. (I'm somewhere around 50th in line. *sobs*) I liked Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony a lot because Artemis finally has a love interest! <3 Yes, I'm a closet fan-girl. You got a problem with that?! *cough* Anyways, it should be interesting.
Has anyone ever read the Maximum Ride series? You should! It's about these kids with wings. Okay, that's a pretty lame summary, but the books are awesome! I love books! Especially sci-fi... wow, almost all of my favorite books are sci-fi. Weird. Oh well, at least I read the interesting sci-fi and not the weird evolutional-alien-invasion stuff; that's just weird.
So yeah, I fill the gap in my love life with fictional characters. *swoons over Fang* <<<(It's a Max. Ride thing) Or maybe it's just the Valium talking. <<< (More Max. Ride!) Anyway, I know someday I'll find someone who 'loooves me this much!' *spreads out arms* <<<(Haha! Third Max. Ride ref. Yay Faxness!)
Oh, and sorry for the book-gushing. I'm a little buzzed out.
